Collin County Homes : DFW foreclosure filings are down again in March

For the 13th month in a row that D-FW home foreclosure filings have been lower than a year earlier. Home foreclosures in the DFW metroplex are down 20% from where they were at this time last year. This comes as somewhat of surprise as many analysts have been worried about . The biggest declines in foreclosure filings came in Denton and Collin county where foreclosure filings were down 24 and 23 percent respectively. Lower foreclosure rates continue to spur on the shift in the DFW market from a buyer’s market to an even market or ven seller’s market in some areas. However buyers still remain enthused by the low interest rates available and are creating a market with benefits for both seller’s and buyers.
